Thank you for your interest in submitting a talk to ShellCon.
ShellCon is a security conference. As such, presentations should focus on topics that are relevant and useful to security practitioners. When selecting talks, special emphasis will be placed on those that teach skills, concepts, tools, or techniques that the audience can put to use immediately.
We will be providing power, a microphone, and a projector with VGA and HDMI inputs.
Talks which sound like an advertisement for a product or service will not be accepted.
Talk Title: Titles should be indicative of the content of the talk. If you have a super clever title that doesn't necessarily describe the content but is just too good to pass up, please provide a secondary title either in () after the main title or in the Additional Talk Information section (see below).
Description/Abstract: This is the description as it will be published on the schedule and website. It should be short, to the point, and give a good idea of what you’ll be covering.
Slides: If you have slides or other presentation materials that you’d like to share with the audience put a URL here. This link will be included on the schedule. This is not required.
Additional Talk Information: This is a non-public field, meaning that it won’t be seen by the audience. This is where you can provide the selection committee with any additional details about your talk that will help convince us that your talk should be placed on the conference schedule. Good things to include here:
Please fill out your profile’s Name, Company, and Bio as you would like them to appear on the published schedule. Aliases are acceptable and you are not required to disclose your employer if you'd prefer not to. If you don’t provide a picture we may choose one for you :)
We know speakers are key to the success of a conference and hope you will submit a talk. In appreciation of your efforts, speakers will receive free admission to the conference for themselves and a guest.
If you run into any problems with the submission process (technical or otherwise) or if you have any questions related to the CFP, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please do not use this email address to submit your talk. Click the registration link at the top of the page to do that.
All Attendees and Speakers are expected to follow the ShellCon Code of Conduct
